This is the Compressive Tuning Air Shield Intercooler Protector. This protector has been designed to add an extra shield of protection to your top-mount intercooler without affecting the flow, form, or function of the intercooler. During highway driving or off-road driving, you risk debris or road impediments making their way through your hood scoop and it could damage the fins on your intercooler. This is not prevalent as some may have hood scoop shields or different hood scoop designs, but if you have a larger hood scoop with a larger opening, then this protector will make for an excellent addition.
